Description of instrument

Lafarge Canada Inc. operates a Class A pit (Roehner Pit, #606862) with extraction occurring above the water table on a 32.2 hectare. The pit is located approximately 15 km southwest of the City of Orillia. The licensee has applied to reduce the 100 m setback along the north side of the pit to 15 m.
