The changes to the site plan for ARA Licence No. 3831 were approved by the Director June 2, 2025.
The approval allows Glencore Canada Corporation to reduce the excavation setback area to allow excavation in the location within 100 metres of a mine hazard, as defined in the Provincial Policy Statement.

Description of instrument
A site plan amendment request has been made by Glencore Canada Corporation to amend their current site plan to allow for a reduction in the excavation setback area that will allow excavation in a location within 100 metres of a mine hazard, as defined in the Provincial Policy Statement.
Other information
Glencore Canada Corporation operates this site under the authority of Licence #3831 under the Aggregate Resources Act. The licensee has submitted the site plan amendment request to obtain material that meets certain specifications required to fulfill a contract.
Site plan information is available to view at the MNRF Sudbury District office. Making an appointment to view the information is recommended to ensure aggregate staff will be available to provide information and answer questions.
