Description of instrument

An application has been made by Owen Sound Ledgerock Ltd. to amend their site plan to allow extraction to occur below the established water table. The licensee discovered that the water table at this quarry was at a higher elevation than was originally recorded. As a result, extraction to the current floor elevation cannot be reached while remaining 1m above the water table as specified on the site plan. Therefore, the licensee has applied to amend the site plan to allow extraction below the water table. The elevation of the floor of the quarry is also being requested to be lowered as part of this proposal.
