I do not want nuclear energy , we want energy from the sun wind methane truly clean inexpensive energy . are the nuclear companys going to pay to clean up there mess at bruce power , of course not the tax payer will like they always do . no nuclear no dump in our back yard !!!!!! Read more

In the long run -- or even medium term -- it is obvious that a serious emergency at Pickering or Darlington cannot be managed safely. The inevitable outcome would likely cost thousands of lives (sooner or later) and contaminate substantial areas with radiation for decades or more. Read more

I urge you to ramp up Ontario's Nuclear Emergency Plans to be able to cope with a Fukushima level nuclear accident here in our province. The cost of failing to do so is too high, given the proximity of most of Ontario's nuclear reactors to large population centres. Preparedness is the key. Read more
