In Ontario, we continue to stockpile spent fuel, remodel old technology, and deliver electricity through the nuclear industry methods. We know that human error, climate change, an earthquake, flood or snow event will at some point in time result in a serious nuclear incident. Read more

We need world-class nuclear emergency plans. As a cancer survivor I know first-hand how devastating radiation poisoning is (3600 rads [36 Grey] administered over 8 weeks). Please, please make sure we have the best of the best protection. And remember it's not just humans who will be affected. Read more

Myself and my family are Ontarians who live near one of the 25 reactors that line the shores of the Great Lakes. We know that major nuclear accidents have occurred about once a decade globally, and Ontario should be prepared to protect us in the event of a nuclear emergency. Read more
