Description of instrument
The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial wash water treatment works serving Karat King Inc. located at 860 Edward Avenue, in Newmarket, Ontario.
The wash water treatment works comprise of a primary settling pond, aerated biological treatment pond, and final finishing pond.
Effluent will be measured at the outlet of the wash water treatment system, and are designed to meet the proposed effluent criteria prior to discharge to an on-site ditch then on site canal and finally discharging to the Holland River.
The Ministry may require monitoring of the industrial wastewater effluent discharge leaving the site.
