Description of Instrument

The purpose of this application is to create an easement for the purposes of ingress and egress over PIN 56066-2447 for the benefit PIN 56010-0009. The effect of the application is to provide access to H20 Power Calm Lake Inc. over a portion of an existing travelled road called Flanders North Road which is owned by Resolute FP Canada. The proposed easement would be approximately 0.66 hectares, 7.5 metres wide and would extend approximately 880 metres. The servient lands would be an irregularly shaped parcel approximately 7.322 hectares with approximately 1,457 metres of frontage and 526 metres of depth. The dominant lands are located approximately 7.5 kilometres northwest of the servient lands and contain the Calm Lake Generating Station. There is approximately 7 kilometres of Crown Land following the existing road between the proposed servient and dominant lands. The proposed dominant lands are in the geographic territory of Bennett, while the proposed servient lands are in unsurveyed territory. The subject lands are approximately 120 kilometres east of the Town of Fort Frances in the District of Rainy River.
