Peterborough area approved its CCAPs a year ago, but because there was no business plan (i.e., money commitment) associated with it, relatively little has been accomplished so far for GHG reductions, except a bit on the municipal side where financial savings were obvious. Read more

While I understand the purpose of this document, one of the key changes that needs to be made is to update the building code. Houses should simply not be allowed to be built or retrofitted with inefficient windows, doors, insulation, siding, etc. Read more

. We feel that the PCP Tool should be given more value in the Guideline as it is clearly a program that municipalities feel confident in following when choosing to take action to reduce their GHG emissions and plan for the future. Read more
