Original proposal
Proposal details
Description of instrument
L82 Construction Ltd. has applied to make a significant change to their rehabilitation plan. Due to the lack of available overburden and topsoil resources, a portion of the site that was to be rehabilitated back to agricultural land is now proposed to be rehabilitated back to a 4.2 ha pond and 0.26 ha naturalized area. L82 would further like to allow for an open ditch and catch basin adjacent to the pond to provide for drainage between the pond and an existing onsite municipal drain.
Additional proposed amendments include:
- a reduction of the setback, from 15m to 0m, along the boundary common with adjacent site (L82 Construction Ltd., Licence # 624964) to maximize onsite resources and improve rehabilitation efforts;
- the addition of a note to the site plan that would allow for the removal of a berm located on the north portion of the site (common with the Licence # 624964), when the berm is no longer required for noise mitigation at the adjacent site.
