I think that the new government is acting too hastily in regards to the cap and trade plan. True, we must support the needs of business, but business must also work to reduce pollution. I am very uncomfortable with the elimination of the cap and trade plan for Ontario. Read more

I strongly urge all MPPs not to pass Bill 4. This legislation will take Ontario backwards into the past, not forwards into the future! The economic future is in renewable energy and its attendant developments in sustainable living for the 21st century. Read more

I wish to voice my opposition to the cancellation of the cap-and-trade system, especially without a viable replacement program to be implemented immediately. The premier has claimed to respect hard-working taxpayers and taxpayer dollars, which has been evident in some areas. Read more

I would like, and believe we need a real climate plan to reduce emissions. I want polluters to pay for their emissions, and 100 percent of those revenues should return to lowering carbon footprint. I want legally binding emission targets as per obligation to the Paris Climate Agreement. Read more

I am extremely concerned about the recent changes to environmental laws in Ontario, particularly the cancellation of the Cap and Trade program. This was an excellent program which was making a genuine difference in the carbon emissions produced by major polluters in our province. Read more

Two of the newest Nobel laureates agree a Carbon Tax is required to avoid the worst consequences of climate change. We can't just ignore the facts. Inaction will cost Ontarians in damage to property and loss of life. As our government, it is your duty to act on behalf of the citizens of Ontario. Read more
