Cancelling the cap and trade plan is outright the worst thing for our economy, planet and for individuals. I am absolutely against the current provincial government's actions to cancel existing (and income-generating) plans that are purposed to also help the planet.

I am very unimpressed with this government's decision. Going into the election I knew Ford to be a populist, and as a populist that Ford would reject any progressive ideas and ignore 'facts' and other inconveniences. Does Ford accept that climate change is real? Does he 'believe' in science?

This is a very irresponsible bill proposed by the Ford government. At this point in time we should be ramping up our efforts to fight climate change, not getting rid of them. This is a reality that needs to be faced head on. We can not just ignore the problem and pretend that it will go away.

It is my belief and understanding that it is wrong headed to repeal the Cap and Trade program. It is working. I resent the politicizing of issues relating to the environment and the repeal of Cap and Trade is just that.
