I don't agree with Bill 4 and would like to express how important I feel it is for Ontario, and all of Canada, to have a serious climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. There should be a price on pollution. Read more

I do not want Ontario to be backwards. I want a province that is in the forefront of the new economy. I want a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy, create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy and clean our environment.

I reject Bill 4. We need a real climate plan. People's lives are affected by fires, floods and storms exacerbated by climate change. Ontario needs a plan legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. Read more

I think it's absolutely ridiculous what the Ford government is doing to our province's environmental protections. It is absolutely appalling. I feel it is absolutely unnecessary to repeal these acts left and right without first building a solid proposal of what would be replacing these acts. Read more

To hear that a government is actively trying to remove protections for the environment, including pricing carbon in this day and age is alarming. I find it abhorant that the Ontario PC government have such little care for the generations to come that they consider any price on pollution a mistake. Read more

I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. I want Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions. Read more

Repealing this bill will lead to a significantly less efficient climate action plan and hinder Ontario’s economic competitiveness. Basic conservative principles say to tax bad goods to reduce consumption: greenhouse gas emissions are one of those. Read more
