I believe Ontario should put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint in our homeland. Ontario should set goals to be completely powered with clean energy by 2050.
Carbon pricing works. The savings you think you’re going to create will only have the benefit of getting you voted in, they won’t really help anyone. It’s a short-sighted election-based idea to cancel our participation.
