Why consultation isn't required
We are revoking the remaining regulations under the repealed Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016. The revoking regulation does not have a significant impact on the environment and is predominantly administrative in nature as it revokes the regulations under an act that is no longer in force and effect.
Later this fall, we will release a comprehensive, made-in-Ontario environment plan to help protect and conserve our air, land and water, address litter and waste, increase our resilience to climate change and help all of us do our part to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
