Proposal details

Description of instrument

Application has been made by D’Arcey Sand & Gravel Ltd. to vary a condition of the current licence to authorize an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed in a calendar year. The current licence condition states that, “It is a condition of this licence that no more than 20,000 tonnes of material be removed in any one calendar year”. D’Arcey Sand & Gravel Ltd. has requested that the tonnage limit be increased to 75,000 tonnes annually.

The increase has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand for aggregates in the area.
