To build and operate the facility and infrastructure in proposal you will need much more sawlog quality fibre than is available.I participated in 10 year and 20 year management plans for this region back in 90's as industry rep and fibre was not there then to support 1 shift in Mattawa. Read more

I have no problem of the issuing of a licence for this new this new processing facility as it will provide new economic benefit to the area and a new market for area foresters. I do not work in the forest industry and will not provide any benefits for me. Read more

I have read the proposal for this new sawmill to be built in Bonfield, Ontario. I worked for 17 years in and around the Mattawa/Temiscaming/Huntsville/Alban area for Tembec in the forestry department, I left Tembec in 2012. Read more
