Why consultation isn't required
This Closure Plan proposes rehabilitation measures for the Pamour Mine site. Improvements to the site as a result of the completed and proposed rehabilitation activities are expected.
Bulletin details
This Closure Plan Amendment identifies closure concepts for the Pamour Mine site. A few of the proposed updates to the closure concepts in this amendment include the following:
- Update rehabilitation measures for short and long term to include the collection and pumping of seepage water and site runoff to the central open pit and mine workings.
- Update rehabilitation measures to manage the water level in the open pit through routine water treatment by means of in-line dosing.
- Update water management strategy.
- Update tailings and waste rock geochemistry data and interpretation.
- Update financial assurance for the proposed rehabilitation strategy, monitoring, and maintenance.
