I agree with the moratorium. Our water is a valuable commodity that we are currently giving away for far, far less than its' market value. Companies wanting to exploit it should pay a high premium for it as they are competing with the local residents for use of this important resource!

I feel that water bottling companies are exploiting our natural resources and not compensating us fairly. Water bottling companies should pay a much higher rate for the precious groundwater that they extract and seek back to us.

Natural Resources should be preserved for the current and future generations of this planet and are not to be sold to private corporations for the exploitation of said generations. Do the right thing, refuse to renew water extraction contracts. Preserve our planet.

Companies like Nestle have been exploiting our natural resources with no cost for far too long. With the ever increasing threat of climate change, the value of our natural water resources grows every year. If these companies still want to reap the profits. Read more

They can completely take over a natural resource in an area for a measly fee, which is practically free to a large corporation, and make billions of profit. To say nothing of the contribution to plastic pollution that is beyond alarming at this point. Read more

Hello, Please do not allow Ontario’s water to continue to be sold back to us at ridiculous prices, while also contributing heavily to single use plastic generation. We have excellent municipal water systems, by and large, and bottled water is unnecessary. Enough is enough.
