It is harmful to the province, deadly to natural systems and a horrible example to provide to the public to double the amount of logging allowed - further more to allow the forestry industry to be exempt from the ESA is terrible. Read more

It seems to me like trying to avoid responsibility and continue to have a benefit of being exempt from rules that are there for a reason - it is easy to chop down a forest, but not easy to restore the habitat for endangered species. Read more

This proposal is extremely harmful. The forestry sector should not be exempt from the ESA. The Certification process is completely unrelated to the needs of at-risk species and their habitats. The damage that will be done under this will be felt for generations to come.
