It is of great concern to this community that a processing and transfer facility is being planned. This facility, which will emit toxic and greenhouse gasses are extremely close to homes and sensitive environmental areas.

Please do not allow this project to proceed in this location. It will destroy the communities in proximity to it. The communities have had to deal with the smells coming from the existing sewage plant. Much money has been invested in walking trails along the lake.

Our neighbour hood is already a busy port to many industrial companies driving recklessly at outrageous speeds. We had to put up with an extended inconvenience of construction and smell to rehabilitate the tunnels for the water filtration system.

This is ludicrous in such a densely populated residential area that already has enough truck traffic to begin with! Why not set sites like this up in areas away from residential communities?!? The health risks, increased truck traffic and environmental impacts, are clearly being brushed aside.

I live in the community where this waste disposal site is proposed. This is a residential community, quiet and family-friendly. It is no place for a major heavy-industry disposal and processing site.

This is a terrible idea, and will drop property value. I live on Beechgrove drive and have young children who play outside in our back/front yard, they also ride their bikes in and around the neighbourhood. They do commute to school on their bikes as well.

Has anyone at the MECP had a look at the traffic routes that will convey the 1200 tonnes per day waste (100 trucks?) to the project site?
This is a terrible site for a waste processing plant at this sort of capacity.

Nature of a residential area and tranquility is already distorted by presence of large scale industrial nature establishments in the vicinity. This will worsen the situation further.Please don't approve this in such a densely populated area. Ask to move the proposal outside the city. Thanks
