Hello, I am surprised that this proposal is even being considered given the location of the proposed site and the reasons this is such a bad / poor choice. For more details see the specifics outlined in the petition change.org/westhillhealth. Read more

I am seriously concerned about the proposed expansion of the Waste Station at 663 Coronation Drive. I have had access to sketchy information to this point---information which provides little comfort and raises many troubling questions. Read more

Why would the province place a waste disposal site near a high residential and high use hiking trail and parkland? The amount of trucks in the area will be so disruptive and cause more pollution than needed. Sites like these should be outside the city! Read more

This comment is regarding our family of five’s disapproval has a tax paying citizen to have this operation of Waste Disposal to be processed in our backyard. Being exposed to such toxins and stench would demonstrate the government’s disingenuous care for our livelihoods and health. Read more

The community has already been saddled with the water treatment plant, chemical plants and a halfway house. Read more

Under no circumstances should a facility such as this be built or operated in this location. We live on Beechgrove Dr. and the increased truck traffic through our community would destroy our peace of mind and use and enjoyment of our properties. Read more

The area north of Coronation Drive and East is highly residential populated including schools and community centers. There is lovely green space for us as a community to visit which is full of nature and beauty. Read more

I am a resident in this area and strongly object to this proposal. As the area already has a water treatment facility, we have been subjected to foul odours from work that was undertaken in recent years and is likely to continue in future years with maintenance. Read more
