Proposal details
This proposal is for a new multi-media Environmental Compliance Approval (Air/Noise and Waste Disposal Site-Processing and Transfer Facility) for 2683517 Ontario Inc.
The anaerobic digester facility is located at 633 Coronation Drive, Scarborough, Ontario. The facility will receive organic waste to produce natural gas and organic fertilizer. Processes at the facility will include the use of a hydrolyzer tank and liquid surge tank, two (2) anaerobic digesters, eleven (11) natural gas boilers, carbon filter system, biogas upgrader system and a flare.
Emission to the atmosphere will include:
- carbon dioxide
- total reduced sulfur
- sulfur dioxide
- nitrogen oxides
- methane
- particulate matter
