This does not sound like a good proposal for our neighbourhood and area. There are many homes in close proximity to this site. As well, there is a beautiful recreational area right beside it. There is no direct access to a major Highway. Read more

This proposed waste disposal site will process over 2,000 tonnes of waste/day. This huge operation SHOULD NOT be located immediately adjacent to residential areas. Not only that, an estimated 100 trucks will be visiting and leaving this site daily. Read more

Re: 019-1446: I strongly object to the proposed waste processing & transfer plant at 633 Coronation Drive. Having a facility of this magnitude located within metres of large residential areas, schools, parks and recreational facilities will have a significant negative impact on our daily lives. Read more

This proposal is totally unacceptable. Our family has lived on Manse Road for over 40 years and our once peaceful area has become a transport truck nightmare. As it is right now the trucks are on Manse Road and Coronation 7 days a week all day long. Read more

the proposed facility with all the toxic releases and the heavy traffic should be not be located in a established residential area period. These kind of facility need to located in remote area similar to the waste facility in Clarington On

It is of great concern to this community that a processing and transfer facility is being planned.  This facility, which will emit toxic and greenhouse gasses are extremely close to homes and sensitive environmental areas. Read more

Thanks for the proposed project. However we have few concerns. We have already a nuclear power station in pickering which is very close from our neighbourhood is already under a big threat . In 2019 when the false alarm message we had received from the power station , we felt very unsafe. Read more

Can not believe that anyone would propose such a terrible project within a family residential community. We have suffered for many years with the smells from the sewage plant. The idea of 100's of trucks of "organic" waste moving through an established community is unthinkable. Read more

This is ludicrous in such a densely populated residential area that already has enough truck traffic to begin with! Why not set sites like this up in areas away from residential communities?!? The health risks, increased truck traffic and environmental impacts, are clearly being brushed aside.
