Why consultation isn't required
On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.
Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) to be issued to Joy Square Corporation, for the construction of stormwater management works in support of a proposed development located at 15827 Main Street in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.
The sewage works will include:
- a dry pond
- complete with storm sewers
- storage chambers
- oversized storm sewers for quantity control
- an oil-grit separator for quality control discharging into the existing town system
Sanitary sewers will also be connected to the existing town infrastructure.
