Why consultation isn't required
On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.

This proposal is for the construction and operation of a new galvanized metal plant at this site. The proposed development will consist of an industrial building with associated parking lot areas. The site will store raw and finished (i.e. galvanized) metals within an exterior yard that is exposed to precipitation events.
A stormwater management system is proposed to collect, detain and treat stormwater discharging from the site and provide an enhanced level of protection prior to discharging to the downstream receiver, Twenty Mile Creek and ultimately the Lake Ontario.
