Proposal summary
The ministry is proposing to file a 2020 Closure Plan amendment for the Sugar Zone Project. The amendment proposes changes to the site including, relocation of two ventilation raises and the expansion of the Closure Plan boundary, to include more area but with the mining leases LEA-109592, LEA-109602, LEA-109605, LEA-109593.

Site location details
The Sugar Zone Project site is located in Odlum, Hambleton and Strickland townships and approximately 35 km north of the town of White River, Ontario. Current access is via an all-weather forestry branch road that connects Highway 631, approximately 25 km north of Highway 17.

Harte Gold Corp. has submitted a certified amendment to the Sugar Zone Project Closure Plan, for filing. The amendment documents proposed changes to the site that includes the relocation of two ventilation raises, by approximately 300 meter north and the expansion of the Closure Plan boundary, to include more spatial area, within the mining leases LEA-109592, LEA-109602, LEA-109605, LEA-109593.
