Proposal details

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) No. 8387-6TLH84 for CRH Canada Group Inc., a concrete ready-mix facility located in the Township of Puslinch, County of Wellington.

The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include aggregate processing, washing, stockpiling, screening, and shipping activities. The amendment includes an additional aggregate processing and wash plant and a portable aggregate screening plant.

Emissions to the air from this facility include:

  • calcium oxide
  • calcium sulfate
  • total suspended particulate matter
  • nitrogen oxides
  • noise

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the environmental compliance approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air).

The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
