Why consultation isn't required
We are in the process of developing a draft GGH Transportation Plan, and this survey is an information gathering activity that will feed into the development of the draft Plan. Once the draft Plan development process is completed, we intend to post it on the ERO to initiate a formal consultation process on the draft document.
Bulletin details
The GGH region is a fast-growing area in North America and will continue to grow over the next 30 years. It is a global destination for people and businesses seeking a high quality of life and economic opportunities. To address significant change, including technological innovation, e-commerce and aging demographics, we need to build a transportation system that can accommodate growing demand.
The feedback from this survey will help us develop the GGH Transportation Plan and learn what transportation priorities are most important to you. While safety measures to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak has changed the current travel patterns, we also know the transportation challenges continue and new ones have been developed due to the pandemic. The survey questions will ask for your feedback on some of those traditional challenges as well as your experiences during the pandemic.
