The use of BioMass and burning of wood pellets or coal is blatantly counterproductive to the production of Green Energy. There is a monumental lack of intelligence to this policy or plan of action on the part of the Ontario government.

If you believe in science, you will know that wood pellets are bad for our forests and for the environment. Do the right thing and stop expanding this dirty, wasteful use of natural resources.
Could you politicians use your heads for something more than a place to put a hat? You're pushing people's buttons right now & you WILL be remembered in coming elections.
Our boreal forest is an important part of fighting climate change. Stop turning it into wood pellets for electricity. No to coal and no to wood pellets. Yes to wind, solar and other green sources for electricity.
How is it even possible that public officials, whom we assume to possess a minimum level of education and awareness of the "burning" issues of our times, are contemplating the burning of trees to generate electricity. This foolishness, which borders on criminal negligence, must stop immediately.
Why are we still fighting to prevent more climate change instead of fighting to fix it - money will not give you oxygen to breath or a world to live in. Destroying trees constantly makes things so much worse. It should not be an issue to stop this.
I am against this proposal. What often starts out as processing of waste wood often becomes cutting of viable forests, releasing CO2 prematurely. Other true forms of renewable energy, and energy conservation are much better solutions.
Burning boreal forest instead of using solar or wind for energy is just irresponsible. This government is intent on spoiling nature and farmland as much as possible.
Our trees need our greatest protection and we should be planting trees for everyone we take.
We the trees to filter our air pollution.
Our earth and all our fresh water.
Protect habitats and all animals big and small.
It’s time for the Ontario government to take climate change seriously and to stop green-washing initiatives like expanding the wood pellet industry.

The Ontario government has to stop playing around and get serious about climate change and how to tackle it! The expansion of the wood pellet industry is NOT the way to go and I think they are well aware of that!! It is not a green solution.

Please utilize our evidence based solutions to the climate problem. This does not include the burning of biomass to reduce oil consumption. There are other solutions that our money would be better focused on.
