Decision details
On March 21, 2022 we issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) to Terra Nova Environmental Services Inc. for a mobile unit used to treat solid non-hazardous soils contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, volatile organic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, pesticides and/or herbicides.
Processing may take place at various locations around the province for up to 90 days at a time using the approved mobile processing equipment. Notice must be given to the local District Office prior to processing.
This proposal was originally posted in error, as it was not subject to notice requirements under the Environmental Bill of Rights (EBR) as the activity is in respect of mobile waste processing equipment (Section 5(2) 6.v of O. Reg. 681/94 under the EBR).
This decision notice is being posted to close the proposal and to advise that the ECA was issued.
