Facilities to train dogs to hunt wildlife is cruel and inhumane to the wildlife in question that is being held in captivity and then used for sport. Please do not allow new licenses for dog train and trial areas in Ontario.

This is a practice that though it may have been going on for years should not be acceptable. This is akin to legalizing dog fighting.

Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals that are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt.
We don’t corral deer or moose, why would we do this to coyotes. We don’t eat coyotes. It makes no sense.
