Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0072-A2LQD9 with Limited Operational Flexibility for Triple M Metal Corp., as general partner for and on behalf of Triple M Metal LP, for a metal recycling and processing yard located in the City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include:
- stockpiling
- baling
- shredding
- torching operations
The amendment includes a new processing line equipped with a dust collector.
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- nitrogen oxides
- particulate matter
- aluminum
- chromium
- compounds
- iron
- lead
- manganese
- nickel
- benzene
- petroleum distillates
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air).
The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
