Many areas don't have material recycling yards and rely on a city or municipal dump. The areas that do have a company that handles things like excess soil are now too worried to take excess soil due to all the extra costs this has created.

I work for an established beneficial reuse site. In accordance with Ontario Regulation 406, we put in place registration and truck tracking methods. We may not be 100% on every front, but we have set up the necessary systems and are working at improving on them. Read more
