Bulletin details

A Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, regulates the use of land and the erection, location and use of any building or structure on the land.

O. Reg. 330/22 facilitates the relocation of businesses and institutions within the Thorncliffe Park community to support the Ontario Line’s Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF). The Zoning Order supports the continuity of operations for a place of worship and businesses which are being relocated to support the development of the Ontario Line, a provincial priority.

This Zoning Order adds permitted uses to the existing employment zone, including a place of worship, community centre, recreational uses, retail stores, medical offices, and general office uses.

O. Reg. 330/22 applies to lands municipally known as 20 Overlea Boulevard, in Toronto.

The lands subject to O. Reg. 330/22 are described as:

lands in the City of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario, being lands described as Parcel A-12 Section M736; Part of Block A on Registered Plan M736, designated as Part 1 on Plan R-1465, and further identified by Property Identification Number 10369-0050 (LT) registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Toronto (No. 80).

Pursuant to subsection 47(4) of the Planning Act, and except for the purposes of section 24, the Minister deemed O. Reg.& 330/22 to be and to always have been a by-law passed by the Council of the City of Toronto.
