Proposal details
Application has been made by Drain Bros. Excavating Limited to amend the current site plan to allow for the importation of excess soils, raising the final grades on a portion of the licenced area to recreate the surface water catchment areas that contribute to surrounding wetland areas (12ha) that are now proposed for protection by being excluded from the existing approved extraction area.
Public consultation opportunities
The proposal request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan, the County of Peterborough, the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Otonabee Region Conservation Authority, and any landowners within 120m of the licenced boundary for comment.
