Decision details
A change to Aggregate Resources Act (ARA) Licence No. 4638 was approved by the Director on February 9th, 2023. The approval allows Russel Dettman to amend the licence condition that refers to annual tonnage. The tonnage limit will be increased to no more than 100,000 tonnes per year.

No comments were received in response to the Environmental Registry of Ontario notice.
One (1) comment was received in response to the ARA consultation process. The comment from the Township of Howick stated there were no concerns with the proposal.

Application has been made by Russell Dettman to change the conditions on the current licence No. 4638 under the authority of the ARA, to authorize an increase in the annual tonnage limit for the site to 100,000 tonnes. The current annual tonnage limit for this site as stated on the licence is 50,000 tonnes.

The proposal request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Township of Howick, County of Huron and landowners within 120 metres of the licenced boundary for comment.
