I am aware of the need for a short term lease renewal for the cottage lots at Rondeau Provincial Park. However, the objective of the additional two years should be to establish a solution for the permanent occupancy of the cottage lots. Read more

Our family has been a part of the cottage community in Rondeau Provincial Park for five generations now. My grandfather supplied and built some of the cottages that are still part of this community. In fact, Rondeau has always had cottages as part of the park. Read more

As a frequent visitor to Rondeau Provincial Park, I am writing in support of extending the leases of the cottages. I support the ability of cottage owners to be able to purchase their lots, and this temporary extension should be a further step toward that eventual outcome. Read more

A solution must be found for the permanent occupancy of the cottage lots, and a sale under Section 9(3) of the Provincial Parks & Conservation Reserves Act (2006) as directed by Minister Jeff Yurek is the best way. Our family has been using the cottage since 1910. Over 100 Years.

As a kid/teen who loves Rondeau… I don’t see any cottages hurting the environment. And I’m part of the environment club at school and do work with Girl Guides Canada…. I have strong beliefs about protecting our natural environment, planting trees and picking up litter. Read more

The cottages in Rondeau Provincial Park take up less than 1 percent of available land. I support them in their plan to purchase their lots. It would give them security of tenure guaranteed under the landlord tenant act without affecting public use of this special place.

Please find a solution for the permanent occupancy of the cottage lots, and a sale under Section 9(3) of the Provincial Parks & Conservation Reserves Act (2006) as directed by Minister Jeff Yurek. In 2019 Minister Jeff Yurek ordered a sale of the cottage lots to Chatham-Kent, this process was Read more
