This proposed legislation is an egregious violation of a promise made to all Ontarians not to develop the Greenbelt. It will pave over prime agricultural land and put the integrity of our water recharge areas at risk. This legislation needs to be withdrawn.

You are going to wipe out years of thoughtful work, and flush all that effort and money down the toilet... all this without any real consultation. What kind of haphazard and disjointed development will take place now? The loss of the values protected in this plan is frightening. Shame!
