Greatly disagree with removing or modifying the green belt, we require our green lands, swamps and natural zones. Consider the impact on wildlife that are already being pushed around and have such reduced land or have to suffer our constant sounds and lights!

Thank you for allowing the public to comment on this project. I truly hope the government listens and considers our concerns seriously. Please do not further disrupt the greenbelt. Please simply leave the land as is. We have already destroyed enough of the environment. Read more

The Green Belt is supposed to curb urban sprawl and is not land “waiting to be used”. Considering southern Ontario has very poor public transit infrastructure in place as it is, we should be considering redeveloping underused land that is NOT within the green belt space. Read more

Hello, my partner and I do not support the proposed changes to the Greenbelt due to the negative environmental impacts. We believe there are other ways to increase housing supply for the Greater Toronto Area (e.g. intensification) without destroying Ontario's natural heritage. Read more

At no time should any current protected area be removed from protection for any reason. The area was set aside for positive environmental reasons and that has not changed. If anything the need for protection is even greater as climate change is causing challenges on our natural environment. Read more
