This is absolutely unacceptable. The premier promised that these lands would not be touched. There should be no removing lands from the current green belt. You cannot just swap around lands as suits developers. This land is vital to our water and food supply.
As a young person born and raised in Grimsby and that has seen the sad expansion of housing and loss of land I absolutely oppose this bill. We need to protect our land. We had some of the richest farm land and it continues to dwindle. This bill is a HUGE mistake. PROTECT THE GREENBELT
I am strongly against the use of greenbelt lands in Ontario for housing development. These lands provide important ecological benefits and will only become more critical as we fight against climate change.

The housing crisis that exists will not be cured by building more unaffordable homes on our most precious green space. We are amidst a climate crisis- I would expect that land marked as sensitive needs to be protected now more than ever!!
I strongly support the Provincial initiatives to increase the supply of housing in my community.
The lands are adjacent to existing settlement areas.
