What disturbs me most about the passing of this bill is its shortsightedness and lack of proper planning. Municipalities, environmental groups, housing experts and citizens alike oppose Bill 23 because simply put- it will not fix the housing crisis. Read more

It is incomprehensible how the Ford's Government just last year promised that the Greenbelt lands were untouchable for development. And to have the same government do a 180 just a few months ago, proposing to remove 15 parcels of land for development, is nothing short of a betrayal. Read more

I do not support any development on the Greenbelt or moraine, nor the trading of lands, or swapping of lands, in order for development to occur on the greenbelt now or in the future. I do not support housing on being built on the lands of the future “Pickering airport”. Read more
