Removing land from the Greenbelt does nothing to address the housing crisis. Ontario needs more medium- and high-density housing near transit and other services. We don't need more sprawl. The whole thing reeks of corruption. Read more

The whole point of the greenbelt was to discourage sprawl and encourage densification. This project does little to help the housing crisis compared to many better alternatives. This project will bring unnecessary costs to transportation and furthers the climate crisis. Read more

I am completely and absolutely opposed to Bill 23 and any plans to develop any lands designated as Greenbelt. I am opposed to any redesignation of land in the Oak Ridges Moraine. This is a travesty. Doug Ford PROMISED not to touch the Greenbelt. PROMISED! Read more

I am against bill 23. The Greenbelt should be left alone as there are studies that show that there is enough space available (for now) for infill and greater density on existing residential lands. Stand down and let local governments decide what is appropriate Matthew
