Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to an existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2305-CMWN6K (Industrial Sewage) issued to 537 Kingston Road East (Ajax) Holdings ULC for the establishment of stormwater management works, for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of runoff from the western part of the site, located at 537 Kingston Road East, in the Town of Ajax, Ontario.
The west half of the site forms part of the Carruthers Creek watershed, within the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) jurisdiction.
The proposed stormwater management works will consist of private storm sewers, an infiltration gallery facility located in the north-west area of the site, and an underground stormwater management storage tank designed for quality and quantity control. The stormwater management works will also include four oil and grit separator (OGS) units designed for quality control.
All catchment areas within this site are captured via a private storm system and underground storage tank, ultimately discharging to the north-west corner of the site.
