Proposal details

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage), to be issued to 425 Bingemans Centre Drive Corporation, for the establishment of private stormwater management works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off serving a proposed industrial development, located at 355 Shirley Avenue in the City of Kitchener, Ontario.

The proposed stormwater management works will consist of a storm outlet toward the Grand River, within an easement, as well as the installation of:

  • flow control roof drains
  • an orifice plate
  • an infiltration gallery
  • an oil and grit separator unit
  • a wet pond for on-site quantity and quality control

The stormwater management works will discharge into the aforementioned storm outlet toward the Grand River.
