This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) for Nova Steel Inc., for stormwater management facilities established as part of manufacturing activities for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off generated from a site located at 830 South Service Road, in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.
The stormwater management works include existing storm sewers, pre-existing catchbasins, drainage channels, open ditches and swales for quality and quantity control.
The stormwater management works will discharge to offsite surface drainage channels flowing northward along the west and east sides of the site into the Stoney Creek Watercourse, within the Lake Ontario Watershed.
