The approval allows Blythe Dale Holsteins Ltd. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate that may be removed in a calendar year from 250,000 tonnes annually to 400,000 tonnes annually. This increase addresses the higher demand for aggregates in the area.

- hours of operations
- dust and debris left on municipal road
- hydrogeology
The concerns were addressed by providing additional technical information.

Public consultation opportunities
The proposal request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Thames Centre, Middlesex County, all parties and participants to Local Planning Appeal Tribunal case No. PL161154, residents in dwellings identified in site plan - R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 and the owner of 20147 heritage road and residents within 120 metres of the site, for comment.

Aaroc Aggregated Ltd. currently operates the adjacent site to the east under the authority of licence No. 626069 under the ARA. In total, 21.2 hectares are currently licensed as a pit.
St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) currently operates the adjacent site to the south under the authority of licence No. 19851 under the ARA. In total 36.72 hectares are currently licensed as a pit.
