Based on the recent heavy rains (April 1-April 3) and pooling of water in fields, on the accumulation of water, it is quite concerning to “open dump” waste that will potentially leech into waterways and ground water. Read more

Please don't approve this proposal. The stench for neighbours will be awful. Ground water could be affected, impacting neighbours, as well as local flora and fauna negatively. There are approved facilities for disposal of sewage waste that should be utilized instead. Read more

No thank you! What prevents the rest of us just spreading our own waste? Can I get rid of my septic tank? The road in front of this proposed site flooded the other day… how fast would that have contaminated the creeks and ultimately the ground water? Again NO THANK YOU… we don’t want this!

This area has a very high water table, prone to leaching when table subsides. The operator's reasoning is higher "diesel fuel costs" and the cost PROPERLY dispose of waste at a Municipal transfer or treatment facility. Lets emphasize the word PROPERLY dispose of. Read more

This is really disturbing. I just spent 5 minutes researching the subject and there are even concerns with treated human waste due to the fact that the resulting 'sludge' contains a mix of things that can be harmful to humans. This is not acceptable for any area. We live on the well water here and risk contamination. This is not safe. There are animals, children, adults and seniors who depend on clean soil and drinking water in this area. We also do not want this nearby for our breathing health. Read more

We ask that you not approve this proposal. We live in the area and are not comfortable with the spreading of untreated human waste in our neighborhood. We rely on our land for farming and drinking water through our well. Read more

I cannot believe that this "site" is even being considered for a disposal site. Wake up world. This kind of waste should be so remote from communities that it would not impact the local water table. Read more

I don't agree with raw sewage being dumped any where on farm land. I believe it would have negative impact on our fresh ground water, wild life cattle and livestock. Is he's applying to do this to save on the rising costs of treating the sewage? That's the cost of running a business! Read more

At a time when we are supposed to be good stewards to our environment, a company that is making money pumping waste wants to dump that waste into the environment, rather than properly disposing is at a waste management site. Read more

We are against this proposal as we believe it will adversely affect ground water in this area. we rely on well water for drinking. As treatment facilities are readily available for this, we do not believe this should be allowed in our area . Read more

I am opposed to this application. Even though I do not live in close vicinity to the proposed site I do live in this municipality. I travel to the area frequently and did visit the proposed site. It is presently underwater and all the water runs into nearby creeks. Read more

This type of proposal makes me question… if or when my septic system fails. Why replace it. I’ll just pump it over my property (12acres) I like remotely and see no reason to pay for haulage if it’s acceptable in any fashion to just discharge it across my land( sarcasm) Read more
