result in increased sprawl that will threaten farms, forests, other natural areas, and freshwater

I am shocked by the Ford government's disregard of its previous promises. Once Farmland and other Environmentally sensitive lands are stripped away, there is no going back. The government hides their 'need' to build in these areas under the guise of affordable housing.

Not only would the proceeding of the housing project eliminate thousands of jobs for the county, but the county alone is not big enough to sustain the influx of population this will cause.
