An amendment Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) was granted to 2229062 Ontario Inc., operating as Nature Fresh Farms to amend ECA No. 5024-9BMJD4 for the expansion of stormwater management works serving Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4 greenhouse development, located at 525 Essex Road 14, and 518-520 Mersea Road 10, in the Municipality of Leamington, County of Essex, Ontario.
The approved The North Watershed stormwater management system has a total drainage area of 59.09 hectares and consists of roof-top drainage pipes, on-site storm sewers, swales, and a stormwater detention pond (phases 1, 3 and 4 pond), discharging into the 10th Concession Branch of the Silver Creek Drain.
The approved South Watershed stormwater management system has a total drainage area of 20.51 hectares and consists of roof-top drainage pipes, on-site storm sewers, swales, two oil/grit separators, stormwater detention pond (phase 2 pond), and a stormwater management ditch, discharging into the E.N. Thomas D&W Drain.

To seek leave to appeal, you need to do these three things:

1. Prepare your application
You’ll need to prepare an application. You may wish to include the following things in your application:
- A document that includes:

- a statement about whether you are a resident in Ontario
- your interest in the decision, and any facts you want taken into account in deciding whether you have an interest in the decision
- the parts of the instrument that you’re challenging
- whether the decision could result in significant harm to the environment
- the reason(s) why you believe that no reasonable person – having regard to the relevant law and to any government policies developed to guide decisions of that kind – could have made the decision
- the grounds (facts) you’ll be using to appeal
- the outcome you’d like to see

This proposal is for an amendment to the Environmental Compliance Approval No. 5024-9BMJD4 and 7701-98TQ98 for 2229062 Ontario Inc. for the stormwater management works serving the Nature Fresh Farms greenhouse site, located at 525 Essex Road 14 and 518-520 Mersea Road 10 in the Municipality of Leamington, County of Essex, Ontario.
The stormwater management works are comprised of stormwater quality control, stormwater quantity control, and erosion control works, and includes the following:
- on-site storm sewers, roof water drainage pipe systems, and swales, discharging roof top runoff into the stormwater management ponds
- one stormwater management pond, having a storage volume of 47,456.6 cubic meters with a maximum water depth of 3.233 metres for the 1:100 year storm event, completed with a 525 millimetre diameter outlet pipe discharging a maximum release rate of 355 liters per second into the 10th Concession Branch of the Silver Creek Drain
- one stormwater management pond, having a storage volume of 13,930 cubic meters with a maximum water depth of 3.541 metres for the 1:100 year storm event; this stormwater management pond feeds the stormwater management ditch via 450 millimetre diameter outlet pipe discharging to a pump station
- one stormwater management ditch, having a storage volume of 3,565 cubic meters and with a maximum water depth of 1.442 meters for the 1:100 year storm event, completed with a 375 millimetre diameter outlet pipe and restrictor orifice discharging a maximum release rate of 130 liters per second into the E.N. Thomas D&W Drain
