Dear Minister Khanjin, Please expand protection in Ontario. Don’t carve the heart out of Bigwind Lake Provincial Park! I love connecting with nature, including camping. But I want to see more parks in Ontario, not overdevelopment of existing protection. Read more

I am commenting on Ontario's is proposal to convert Bigwind Lake Provincial Park from a non-operating park to an operating park. The park at present has a remote wilderness feel, which people desire as a break from city life. Read more

I do not support turning Bigwind into a fully functioning and serviced park. Ontario has lots of serviced parks already. Let's keep as much of Ontario wild as we can. Save this habitat for the species that desperately need it. Adding camping and other services will create a much bigger footprint. Read more

I am concerned about your proposed development of Bigwind Lake Provincial Park, This is at present a wilderness park that is home to such species at wolves that will be disturbed by the influx of road development and visitors. Read more

With all of the current activity in the area, wildlife is already quite disturbed in the area. By increasing camping traffic with no responsiblity/ability to keeping the park clean you will just continue to degrade the environment. Read more

I thought that as the biggest province in Canada they would have the process, the brains and the funding to save their heritages, their parkland for future generations. But I guess as the biggest Canadian Province they only care about the money and nothing but.

This park must remain wild not become another corridor algonquin their are organizations that have depicted the wild wolf species and wilderness approach needed to parks lower in ontario we need more wild parks and less car camping parks
